MUSIC & ENTERTAINMENT SALE

The highly anticipated Regent Theatre Music & Entertainment Sale returns to the main stage of the Regent Theatre (17 The Octagon) on Saturday, 6 June 2026.

This is the fourth year the sale has been held as a stand-alone event, and the Regent is excited to once again welcome the community onto the theatre stage for this popular annual sale.

With thousands of records, DVDs and CDs, along with sheet music, music literature and video games, it’s a treasure trove for bargain hunters and collectors alike.

All items available on the day have been generously donated by the public and carefully sorted by a dedicated team of volunteers, and all funds raised will go directly toward the continued maintenance of the 97-year-old Regent Theatre.

DONATION INFORMATION

Donations for the Music & Entertainment Sale can be dropped at the following locations;

BP MORNINGTON –  For your convenience there are two bins for strictly book donations at the BP 2 Go Mornington, located at 29-37 Mailer Street.

REGENT THEATRE BOX OFFICE – Small donations for the Sale can be dropped into the Regent Theatre Box Office during the Theatre opening hours: Tuesday – Friday 11.00am – 5.00pm.
We request that no donations be left at the Regent Theatre between 27 May and 9 June while we prepare for the sale.

KAIKORAI VALLEY STORAGE UNIT – Large donations can also be dropped off to our team at National Storage – 229 Kaikorai Valley Road, Sundays only, between 9am and 12pm. DIRECTIONS: If heading south on Kaikorai Valley Road, the driveway is beside the Mornington / Belleknowes blue turn off sign and directly opposite the Dunedin Garage Doors business address. If coming from the south, heading north, the driveway is right beside the large yellow National Storage sign on your right hand side after the round about.
