The OUSA Comedy Show - Feat. Dai Henwood
O'week isn't all fun and parties. Oh wait, yes it is! and for a night of fun we have locked in the best comedians in New Zealand supported by some of Otago Universities finest. First up we have the rooster who sometimes needs a booster, the multi award winning Dai Henwood. He's a regular on TV3 comedy round up 7 Days and he could host just about anything you throw at him, even your mum. Dai is joined by two up and comers that are splitting the sides of Kiwi comedy, Rose Matafeo, who is known for her role hosting U Live on U TV. She brings her fresh cracks and vibrant personality down to Dunedin for the first time in 2012... and we can't wait!
Bringing more youth, wit and a unique complexity, Rhys Mathewson was the winner of the 2010 Billy T comedy award. Rhys is the youngest ever comedian to garner the iconic prize, and he's now New Zealand's youngest professional stand up comedian having surpassed three solo shows and worked with NZ comedy greats.
To warm up the crowd we've hand picked a selection of Otago comedians to throw in the deep end and show their fellow Scarfies just how crack up Otago can be!
