STAGE PRODUCTIONS AND
CONCERTS |
The following are provided
to hirers of the theatre for each performance:
Use of the stage, auditorium, foyers, dressing rooms, all front
of house staff (FOH Manager, Ushers/Doorperson, Box Office
staff (8.30am – 5.30pm) and Theatre Technicians (9.00am – 5.00pm).
Provision of one Cashier for 2½ hours.
The supply of power,
heating, the tannoy paging system and the use of all theatrical
and lighting equipment itemised in this document.
No in-house
sound system is available.

Cinema Facilities,
Public Meetings, Conferences, Private Meetings, Lunch Hour
Performances etc and After Hours Functions By Negotiation

Merchandise |
A minimum charge by the
Theatre of 10% of gross sales is applicable to all merchandise
sold at the Theatre. Arrangements to sell merchandise, including
the supply of any Merchandisers, Programme Sellers and a
float must be made in advance.

Booking Confirmation |
A deposit is to be paid
by the hirer when returning the signed Hire Agreement..Confirmation with deposit must be received
at least one month prior to the commencement of the event, and no ticketing will commence until all documentation is finalised. |

Pencil bookings will be
held for one month. |
Performance Particulars |
Information about the artist(s)
and performance content together with booking requirements
concerning ticket sales, publicity etc, shall be compiled
by the Hirer and delivered and sent to the Administration
Manager not less than one week prior to the first announcement
advertising the event.

Cancellation |
Should a booking be cancelled
by the Hirer after a contract has been signed, the deposit
(see Booking Confirmation above) will be retained by the
Theatre. Additionally, the Hirer may be charged for costs incurred
by the Trust on the Hirer’s behalf in relation to this booking. |
Miscellaneous |
Telephone calls, facsimiles,
postage, preparation of party letters etc. and other special
managerial or production costs incurred by the Trust at the
Hirer's request, are chargeable as recorded or assessed by
the Trust. |

The Clarkson Room |
Following the recent upgrade to the Regent Theatre, and
Regent Chambers, we now have a function
room for hire.
Located in the heart of
Dunedin, the Clarkson Room provides a unique venue for your
function - within one of Dunedin's premier event locations
- the historic Regent Theatre.
Available Monday to Sunday, daytime, evenings – pre-show functions,
small conferences, seminars, workshops, product launches –
our new venue could make it that bit more “special”
Capacity - Maximum 50 seated, maximum 80 cocktail
Facilities - A fully equipped kitchen and bar is available.
Catering, bar stock and staffing are the responsibility
of the hirer, however please feel free to discuss your staff requirements as we may be able to assist. |
