The Festival and the Southern Sinfonia are thrilled to be able to present the world première performance of Symphony No. 3 by composer Anthony Ritchie. This Dunedin composer turns fifty this year, and the performance of his latest opus, under the baton of Simon Over, will be a momentous occasion.
The dazzling Bulgarian violinist Bella Hristova will play the wonderful Beethoven Violin Concerto in the second half of the concert.
