THE KRANSKY SISTERS

After sell-out seasons in the UK, Europe, New Zealand and Australia, the Kransky Sisters will unload their baggage and make their Otago Festival debut with the unique and quirky show “Heard it on the Wireless”.

On an old sixties reed keyboard, guitar, musical-saw, tuba and cooking pots, these unworldly sisters offer their offbeat illuminations on what they hear on their wireless and see in magazines.

Their unusual musical act draws on naiveté, spinsterhood and the somewhat gothic existence that forms the world of these three eccentric sisters.

The Kransky Sisters cover songs from Nana Mouskouri, The Carpenters, SugaBabes and Pink, to Skyhooks, Steppenwolf, ACDC, Eurhythmics and Talking Heads.
